Every photograph on Ilsang can be downloaded free for editorial use. If you need it for advertising, marketing or anything that sells, you need a commercial license — look for theC badge.

Which badge means what

• CCommercial license available. No identifiable people appear, so we can license it for commercial use. Trademarks, artwork or buildings may still appear incidentally — if your use ties the image to a particular brand, or you use it in a sensitive context (politics, religion, health, crime, finance), clearing those rights is your responsibility.
• EEditorial use only. A person is identifiable and we have no model release on file, so the image can be used for news, commentary and education but not for advertising or promotion.

What you can't do with any license

• Resell, redistribute or rent the image, or build a competing stock service from it.
• Use it as, or as part of, a trademark or logo.
• Sell products where the image itself is the main value (posters, postcards, prints, phone cases, templates).
• Use it in defamatory, obscene, discriminatory or unlawful contexts, or imply that a person in the photo endorses something.
• Remove the watermark, credit or metadata.
• Use it to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI models, or include it in datasets, without our written permission.
• Share your download link or the original file with third parties.

How to get a commercial or exclusive license

1. Open the photo and choose Request commercial license (or Ask about exclusivity).
2. Tell us who you are and how you plan to use it.
3. We reply by email with the price and a payment link. Our reply restates the refund terms — please read them before paying.
4. After payment you receive the full-resolution file and a license certificate naming the image, the licensee and the permitted use.

Refunds

Please check the free watermarked preview and the license details before you buy. A license is a digital product, so once the full-resolution file has been delivered we can't refund it — except in the cases below.

• Before delivery: cancel any time before we send the file and you get a full refund.
• We will refund or replace if you were charged twice or incorrectly; the file is corrupted, is not the photo you purchased, or materially differs from its preview; or we find we cannot license the image or a third party's claim means you must stop using it.
• How to ask: email info@ilsangstock.com with the photo ID and your payment details. Report a faulty or mismatched file within 3 months of receiving it and within 30 days of finding the problem. We reply within 3 business days and send the refund to the original payment method within 3 business days of approval (your card company may take longer to show it).
• Change of mind, a cancelled project, or buying the wrong image after delivery are not covered. Exclusive licenses follow their own contract.
• Nothing here limits any refund or withdrawal right you have under applicable consumer law.

Video

The free download for video is a short, low-resolution, silent, watermarked preview clip. The full-resolution video is sent after you request a license.

• A license gives you the right to use the image. It does not transfer copyright.
• Using a free photo to promote a product or service, or on a page that earns revenue, counts as commercial use.
